Peer Review 2

Both of the peer reviews commented positively on my layout of the blog saying it was very aesthetically pleasing. Based on these reviews there are some changes that need to be made, with some grammatical errors being picked up and suggestions of more pictures to be added.
Some aspects of the peer reviews were conflicted with each other for example one says that my lesson plan is too simple and confusing and the other review said it was clear and age appropriate. For this I will make some slight changes to my lesson plan making it more clearly to what the intended lesson, but still making sure it meets my focus age group of kindergarten.
Overall both reviews gave me positive and negative feedback with some great suggestions to make my blog better and hopefully giving me a better overall mark for the final submission.

According to dictionary. com, lifelong learning is defined as:
“the provision or use of both formal and informal learning opportunities throughout people’s lives in order to foster the continuous development and improvement of the knowledge and skills needed for employment and personal fulfillment”

I believe being a lifelong learner means that you learn based on life experiences as well as through formal education such as school TAFE and University. As a teacher viewing each day as a learning opportunity and taking the time to learn how to incorporate new pedagogy and technology in the classroom; this allows you as a teacher to gain experience and become fluent with something that you have previously being hesitant to use. By being a teacher who see themselves as a lifelong learner, will have many benefits on the students in the classroom; as new technology gets introduced the teacher will be open to learning how they can incorporate it into to classroom. From personal experience I know the importance of being a lifelong learner. I have learnt a lot from experience that I have had working with children. (2003)
